It's, the insurance is going up for, uh, all our city parish employees, not, not just fire.

And the, the cost of healthcare is skyrocketing nationwide, and Baton Rouge is no different.

So the, the city will take on a percentage of the, those costs, have been, and the employee pays.

So I wanna say the city covers, and, and I'm, I'm not- Might not be the exact number, but anywhere from 60 to 75% of that, of that cost.

And when the numbers came back this year, they've really, really, really high.

We're gonna have to stack it by the road.
