What has your journey been with body positivity? Yeah.

Honestly, I think becoming a model here in America, a curve model, changed the trajectory of the way that I view myself.

It's like the way that I was celebrated on every runway, every set.

I just felt so gorgeous throughout my experience and it made me detach from the physical form my body was in in that specific moment and think of my beauty as something more holistic.

And then I've been like considering this idea for years, but I really honed in on this, I think like about two years ago, the idea that like of body neutrality.

And Not focusing on what my body looks like, but what my body does for me and making sure that I'm also giving back and appreciating.

my body for the way it keeps me alive and allows me to thrive, allows me to dance, be happy, like laugh, you know.

What was different about how this film approaches Bollywood culture for a mixed, partly non-South Asian audience?
