What inspired you to start the Cashel International and what did those early years teach you about leadership and entrepreneurship?

It's one I get asked often.

And, you know, I have a story that I typically share because obviously it's what started, you know, the vision.

I was in school for broadcast telecommunications and mass media.

My goal was to become a news anchor.

And I worked extremely hard being an ambitious person throughout college where most people were doing one internship, you know, a term or a year, I was doing two internships, working a full-time job and going to school full-time because I truly, truly wanted to come out of college with high honors, one, and then also with experience so that whatever company I applied to would be excited to have me work with them.

Before the opportunities and the international recognition came, what discipline had kept you committed when few people knew your name or your work? What is that one thing that kept you and that hold you firm to where you are today?
