What's the first priority once the new commission is sworn in, would you say?

Well, making sure that the new commission is all going to be as much as possible on the same page.

I think that's something that residents and businesses want is consistency.

They want to know what the ground rules are.

So if a developer is coming in or a new business is coming in, are we willing to look at credits and other incentives to have them locate in the community? And then for residents, what are the priorities of the commission? And for me, it's always been providing those basic services that the city needs to provide.

When you call 911, does the appropriate emergency responder show up? Do the streets get plowed? Do the potholes get patched? And then kind of going beyond that.

Are our parks taken care of? There's a park right at the end of my street.
