... uh, you wanna highlight today.
0:44
Yeah, absolutely.
0:45
You know, you, you look at one of those unfortunate incidents that, um, you know, law enforcement responds to, um, frequently, you know, and that's, uh, always a heightened awareness thing for law enforcement, um, to go to that call to service.

[coughs] Excuse me.
1:03
You know, we'll go through that, that call, you know, help out the victim, and then, you know, what I wanna highlight are the, the services that we have here in Wood County, here in Wisconsin Rapids, um, you know, a, a strong partner with the Family Center.
1:17
Um, and up in Marshfield, uh, the Professional Development Center, um, also very strong partnerships where anytime that we investigate these types of incidents, um, we make sure that the victim i- you know, connects with both of those facilities so they can provide the services that they need because sometimes the victim doesn't want to tell us everything, you know, and, um, it's, it might be more comfortable for them to talk to a counselor connected with both of those facilities so, you know, services can be provided, you know, afterwards.
1:55
Mm-hmm.
1:55
You know, what I always felt, you know, throughout my career working with both of them, what, what always stuck out to me, not just having a facility for a victim to go through, uh, or go to, um, is the follow-up that they do.
