So w- I moved here to teach decades ago, [laughs] and it was a thriving community, and the people would all pull together for the big events.

When I first moved here, there was a lot happening with community functions.

Skating rink was active, and the curling rink was active.

The school was very active.

They had the men's baseball team, the Richmond Rockets, and every May long weekend, there was a huge ball tournament.

And teams would come.
