So we definitely identified that PN is being prescribed by several different, different disciplines.

The physician involvement has decreased, and the involvement of dieticians and pharmacists has definitely increased.

Prescribing practices definitely lack standardization and do not align with the current published guidance, and that introduces numerous opportunities for medication errors.

About 50% of the respondents reported using macronutrient dosing formats and units of measure that are not consistent with our published guidelines using grams or calories per day.

And too many of the organizations are still prescribing phosphate salts as mill equivalents of the cation instead of millimoles of phosphate.
