So to dive in, the first is, as a HR leader whose influence is creating social change, What do you feel over that wealth of that 30 years you introduced to us there? What do you feel has been your biggest impact to date?
3:29
Gosh, so for me, it's hard to pick one.
3:32
So I'll try and sort of mention a few because I've worked in great companies that have really allowed me in my role and as part of good executive teams to have a real impact on the world.
3:46
And And I think before I get into that, I think when you do these big jobs, you've sort of got a choice, which is either you sort of just do your job or you're of a mind that sort of says, how do I, in part of what I do, do things that are good for our people, our company, but also the world in which we operate.
4:05
And I think in these roles, if you're thoughtful, you can find the sweet spot on a number of those.
4:13
And it would be missed opportunities, I think, if we didn't do that.
4:16
And so a few that really sort of stay with me on on my journey.

And then you know, see how your role as a chief people and places officer connects in, creating space for you to work on what you care about, you know, on your to-do list day in, day out.
12:23
What are some of the biggest calls that only leadership can make?
12:26
Uh, so, so look, I wish I...Knew exactly what the formula is.
12:30
But [laughs] you know, when you, when you, uh, walk into like a company, you know, you, you need to spend a good amount of time getting out and about.
12:41
Uh, you know, as you, as you walk in, I would say the first thing you should do is you need to meet an organization where it is.
12:46
So there's a big sort of, you know, um, listen, learn, um, be incredibly inquisitive and curious about not just what's going on, but why.
12:55
So you're always trying to find patterns and systems to sort of figure out what new patterns and systems that you might need to make, and actually which ones are really good and you wanna keep and amplify.
13:07
And, and probably the biggest, the biggest tip that I would give is that, you know, pretty much everything in companies needs to start at the top.
