I also kind of wanted to talk about how many companies I speak with assume that they're covered for IP risk under another policy, right? But in reality, traditional policies only go so far.

So for example, General liability policies, many people think because they see the words intellectual property in their CGL policy that they're covered for any IP risk, but it only covers a very narrow slice of intellectual property like money.

Cyber insurance policy, a lot of clients will assume that they see a mention of IP in their cyber insurance, but that's just focused on data and privacy.
