How have the Psalms personally touched you as a person?

Shannon ScottGUEST
Well, I love that you're doing this series, first of all, because I think the Psalms or the Psalter, as it might be called really officially, what a gift from the Lord to us in Scripture, because the Psalms, function as a guidebook or a handbook for navigating the full range of human emotion.

Shannon ScottGUEST
And so as someone who grew up going, am I allowed to be mad or what do I do when I am mad? And how do I, what about when I feel betrayed or when I'm so sad and, or joyful and elated and feeling fun, like the Psalms cover it all.

Shannon ScottGUEST
And there are others like Lamentations and others that also do this for us, but goodness, what a gift the Psalms is.

Shannon ScottGUEST
And for me, when Christina said, we'd love for you to talk about a Psalm that has had a big impact on you, I have one that immediately jumps to mind.
