Tell us ne- a, a little bit, um, Shannon, if you will, um, about when you were diagnosed and w- and what your situation is at this stage.
18:34
Um, I was diagnosed with ALS in November of '24, and I, at that time, I only had, uh, hand weakness of my left hand.
18:52
I thought it was carpal tunnel, and I just went to my PCP, clueless about what was going on.
19:06
But things started changing, and since then, I have lost my ability to walk.
19:17
You can hear that I've lost my ability to talk clearly, and I am just taking it one day at a time.
19:33
But I am determined to live this out loud and with a positive attitude.
23:17
... what do you want people to know about the disease that you're battling and, um, and about h- how, um, your family is dealing with it? What, what do you want them to know?
23:31
I feel like everyone has to deal with it on their own terms, and how they feel is adequate.
