i think it's really influenced my decisions on projects to be working on you know i think that it's really being a freelancer it's really easy to like see a gig and be like all right i need to fill my time i need to get some work like let's do this but actually deciding the stories that i want to be a part of it's like a luxury in a way to be like have a choice of like what to pick to work on but i find that like doing that now it's like really honing in on some storytelling and the people and places that I want to surround myself with and then unfold just how I can like give that back to community.

So this past year I was doing some assistant editing on two other projects and one that was like really influential on myself, the editor, it's called Postmortem.

It should be coming out next year.

And the other one was around the gun industry here in America.

And that was, you know, there's so much around that.

What are you, what are you seeing at the moment?

Yeah, I mean, I, I put some out this morning.

I just, obviously since Roadcheck week, I think the, the spot markets just continue to, to, to rise, uh, sequentially, and that's put just a ton of pressure o- on folks like us that kind of build networks and a lot of brokers, right? And or providers that have committed freight networks, right? I think people see this spot market, and it's funny, I get messages from folks, right, Jesse, and like, "Oh, you must be killing it." And I'm like, "I, I don't." Like, [laughs] "I don't really quite...

We have networks we're trying to keep in touch.

We run, you know, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of trailers in, in large committed freight networks."
