I guess like just a side question on that, did each individual need a different style of management?

Yeah, absolutely.

So one direct report was similar age to me, but a little bit younger.

But she had been in more of a coordination role.

So her coming up to recruit a recruiter role, sorry, was a step up.

And so with her, it was a lot of time sort of coaching, supporting, encouraging her to use her initiative and know that actually, I will back you as your manager on any decision that you make in this process.

You've just got to think about how you're going to advise the business.
