Shane MaddockGUEST
I did multi-species cover crops where I'd have upwards to 20 different species in a cover crop.

Shane MaddockGUEST
Then for several years, I did that for two or three years right away on the farm ground.

Shane MaddockGUEST
And then I went back and I seeded it all into a grass, perennial grass and legume.

Shane MaddockGUEST
and I put a fence around everything, I put water tanks in all my crop ground, and I was done farming.

Shane MaddockGUEST
I wasn't gonna farm, I was gonna raise cattle, and that's how I was gonna make my living, and did all that, got all my fences put up, got all my water lines and the tanks put in, and I was raising yearlings on my farm ground, and it was working okay and stuff, but just recently we decided that we wanted to orientate that ground and get it back into a crop rotation not every year but maybe farm it for two or three years and then put it back into a subject called sob based rotation get it back into a perennial grass for two or three years and then take it out and kind of kind of doing that but for the first two three years i did a lot of cover cropping and now We're getting back into cover cropping with, we're going to do some rye and some winter peas this fall and some of these crop grounds that we're doing.
