One way I ended up there was reading stuff from some of the old gun writers.

Of course, Bill Jordan was a famous border patrolman, Skeeter Skel, Charles Askins.

So I always had an interest in it.

I didn't know a lot about it other than what I had read because I didn't grow up on the border.

But at first I thought I wanted to be a game warden.
