How many women do you think have actually done that work before they're already really like 10, 15 years into their career?

Yeah.

So, you know, it's a spectrum.

It's really hard to generalize and say 10% of the women have done this work.

I learned, based on my experience, most of us are driven by external circumstances.

So there's that group of women who show up to work and they essentially deliver what is expected of them.

So that becomes their definition of success.

Can you share what these barriers were and how women like you can overcome them?

Yes.

So, you know, when you don't see leaders that look like you, that you don't identify with, it is very easy to settle for small successes.

It's not easy to envision yourself there.

And so that we create an internal barrier for ourselves because we don't feel that we are worthy of getting there.

And I discussed the fear of speaking up, for example, but it's also fear of failure.

It's also fear of stepping outside your comfort zone.
