And sort of bringing it into the veterinary setting you alluded to there, what are the factors in cats that influence how they're assessed or handled in a practice setting?
3:40
Yeah, so I think, you know, every cat is individual, even though we've got principles that we can use in terms of our approach with them.
3:48
But sort of, you know, more of a sort of starting level, so to speak, thinking about, you know, what the cat's temperament is, what the previous experience of the cat has been at the veterinary practice.
4:01
So this is where the clinical notes and having creating the time and the space to have a look at those and record those is so important.
4:08
And then the other aspect is just learning about cat behaviour.
4:13
What are the signs of sort of fear, anxiety, pain, et cetera, that we might want to see? And then continually assessing that cat within the practice, because things can change quite rapidly.
4:23
Sometimes we want to go slow and we want to keep evaluating them.

Yeah, and with that happening, what does the future of feline care look like, do you think? How does everyone get there to where they want to be in terms of cat care?
