eight or nine years old, I knew I wanted to be a filmmaker.

and might came from my love first my love of watching movies and I grew up in a time unlike you kids from today where we didn't have internet and those sorts of things and I had a I remember this summer that we got a VHS player at my house and I went to the video store and I rented we already I'd already seen the film in the theater, but I rented a Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and And I would just put it in on repeat and watch it over and over.

And I would then go out and try to recreate scenes with my friends.

And I would do it in still images just with a camera at first.

But that movie just was the movie that I first remember that made me want to be a filmmaker.

After high school, I went to this summer camp at North Carolina School for the Art for filmmaking.

And I'd never really been on any kind of film set.

And what I think we need to keep in an appreciation for films is being able to set aside time and enjoy a story that someone is telling.
