I do because I wanna mention just as an introduction to this, one of the things that struck so many people was not just the fact that there were these shenanigans, as we called them, but the apparent pettiness of [chuckles] what came across.
16:49
So I'll tell you the story from my perspective, right, which I haven't really told to many people.
16:53
But I'll tell you the story from my perspective.
16:55
This is-- The story begins a week before the exams.
16:59
The week, a week before the exams, in the back channels, I get a call from an ultra-Orthodox macher, askan in Hebrew, [chuckles] right? Someone in the, in the, in the world of, uh, uh, the press who says there have been calls to run protests on the day of the, of the exams against the women, and those protests might turn violent.
17:26
And because of that, are you willing-- would you ob- object to us moving the place where the exams for women are meant to take place? The day after that happens, while we were still considering our options, uh, there was a recording that was leaked from the, what we call the Hardali community here.
17:44
Let's call that the right-wing ultra-Orth, uh, Orthodox Zionist community.

8 MINS LATER

And this petty ridiculousness, it sounds somewhat parallel, frankly.
