How will you be able to convince people to agree or go along with some of your ideas?

Yeah, I think that District 8 recognizes that because a lot of the concerns that District 8 has, especially around Zilker and some different parks, is there are a lot of safety concerns in the neighborhoods and other areas.

So having somebody in public safety is really valuable and important.

I also, you know, District 8 is very wooded and so focusing on wildfire risk.

It's also really important to the district.

And so my profile, the experiences that I have, I think really do align well with District 8.

I think when it comes to working with council, I mean, I've had to work with many different forms of council when I was union president.
