What breed and how old was your dog at the time?

Yeah.

Uh, I've got a, he's a German Shepherd and a- again, it's the German Shepherd that got me into dog training, classic, um, reactive kind of story.

Um, but, but he's, he's a sensitive dog and like, you know, I would bring in like a new piece of furniture, for example, and I would put that in my house and he would just lose his mind at that and like bark at it.

If we got a, an armchair and it would make like a squeaky, a different kind of squeaky sound when we would sit on it, and he barked at that for like a week and I was like, "This is..." Like, "This dog, I'm bringing a, a little human being in to, uh [laughs] to be a part of this, this household.

How is he gonna deal with that?" Um, so like there was this kind of this immediate like, "Oh, shit, what do I, what do I do?" Like, [laughs] "How am I gonna prepare him for this?" And then obviously, you know, being a dog trainer, you know, like I know, I know about dogs.

What are things that people should s- should start doing to prepare regards to management and then of course like training stuff?
