Jacqui FelgateHOST
Is it difficult to find homes for, for greyhounds? Like what's the average time they wait?

Sean StantonGUEST
Um, we've had greyhounds that have come into our program that have been homed in a matter of days, and then you have, uh, the rare occasion like Grace where she's had to wait, uh, a, a lengthy time to find her forever home.

Sean StantonGUEST
But obviously, while she's been in our care, she has had the, the best attention.

Sean StantonGUEST
We've got an amazing team that love and care for all of our greyhounds and like I said, she, she spent a lot of time in foster care and yeah, it's really important that we match the right dog to the right home.

Sean StantonGUEST
So, um, I guess a part of our matchmaking is we wanna make sure that we set the greyhound up and, and the adopter up for, for a successful adoption.

Jacqui FelgateHOST
The greyhound makes quite a good pet, right? They're quite lazy, yeah? They like to sleep?

Sean, how about your perspective on that? I mean, what keeps you going in the CNS beyond maybe some of the trauma bonding that Christian kind of mentioned?

Sean StantonGUEST
Some great things are going to happen in this space where we might be able to not cure, but really find really, really solid solutions in neurodegeneration.

Sean StantonGUEST
mental health, you know, I'd say like with the wave of these psychedelics that are coming in, we're seeing incredible response.
