And I wonder when you were thinking about, about putting this all together, did you have a kind of, uh, did you have an overview of what you would do or is this just how the songs came to you and, uh,

I think I was in this kind of, like many people, trying to figure out how to respond to this age of high technology-driven division that we experience.

We all love our technology and the conveniences that it affords, but there's a real cost to this.

And I feel it as a songwriter and as a professional artist, but I feel it as a citizen, too.

I really feel like politics has gone in a weird direction and we have to be careful because you know these people can hijack technologies for for really evil purposes and dividing us enables them to do that and using technology to that purpose is an evil thing to do so it's a hard thing to be because you know we all live online now it's a hard thing to rebel against so which is why it's important to gather live but these were the things that were in my mind when i was writing these songs And I know there are not going to be hits or anything like that, even if there is such a thing anymore.

Time has changed, and I'm not going to unchange time.
