What is your next point? Because we kind of touched on the same things with mine, which was the tone and the themes and stuff.

My next point is the sound design.
27:46
I thought the sound design in this film was excellent.
27:49
It starts off pretty neutral, pretty natural.

The things you hear in the world are the things you'd expect to hear in the world.

But through that kind of slow burn time in the first, like, 30, 40 minutes...

it gradually starts to jump in like little odd noises and sometimes you're like oh is that just the house creaking is that some is it like rats under the floorboards and then there may be a little distant voice somewhere that you don't really pick up on you're like did i hear that and then it gradually escalates to the point by the end it's full-on like horror movie occult like sound design where there's screams and all sorts of mad stuff going on but that i've just loved the way they slowly bring that stuff in so it's it's almost like at that point where we are wondering if the if it's working like if the ritual is working and they do it through sound as well as just visuals and as well as like having the actors the characters speak to each other and asking if it's working through the sound they also slowly bring in the the kind of the surreal occult elements
