77:41
How much pressure is he feeling?
77:45
Well, I, I think a- again, you're, you're trying not to make mistakes.
77:49
I mean, at, at this point, where you're the only quarterback in the country who's thrown an, an interception in all of your team's games, you, the, you know, there, there is pressure not to make mistakes.
77:58
There's plenty of pressure to guide the ball in there.
78:00
There might be pressure to, to, to hesitate to, to even r- to release the ball in- i- instead of just finding that receiver.
78:08
And, and l- and look, he was under pressure.
78:10
As compared to the Texas A&M and certainly the McNeese game, he was under a tremendous, uh, more amount of pressure i- in this game.
82:04
Where do you think, uh, how bad is it, I guess? The relationship between the league and the, uh, the, the coaches, uh, and administration at LSU right now.
66:18
I may be too big picture in this, but that's what I heard on Monday.
66:22
Uh, yeah, I think, I think you can, you can ex- say, say that.
66:25
I think you can extrapolate that to, to a certain degree.
66:28
Yeah.
66:28
Yeah, it, it's gonna be different.
66:29
I mean, yeah, they, they have a sold-out crowd, and we'll see what the weather's like, just how fast this storm moves north.
66:35
Yeah, you know, it's heading towards the Gulf Coast.
69:46
There you go
28:09
Where do you come down on it?
28:10
[static] Uh, I, I think certainly Ole Miss comes out, you know, on a high.
28:17
You know, uh, an emotional high because, uh, there, you know, there are a few players who came with Kiffin, more coaches than players, but a few players who came with Kiffin from Ole Miss to Baton Rouge.
28:26
T.J. Doubree, the linebackers coach.
28:27
Monnalyst Helen, defensive end.
28:29
And, and obviously there's a lot more players who were on the team last year who were recruited by him, who were coached by him a- and, you know, may, you know, maybe have a chip on their shoulder.
28:36
The, the...
29:51
But why is he doing this like he's doing it?
LongAUDIENCE
2:24
And he made it a winner
2:26
with five national titles in a 10-year span, something that I think will never be duplicated.
2:32
Then he became athletic director, hiring Les Miles, who won a national championship, hiring some other national championship coaches at LSU.
2:41
And really... showed everyone how to win and how to succeed and how to promote their programs.
2:46
And this is, as I wrote in the column today, we're still living in the age of Skip Burtman at LSU.
2:55
He is the most influential figure in LSU athletic history, one of the most influential figures in the history of college baseball because he taught a lot of people, hey, it doesn't have to be a money pit.
3:06
You can break even or maybe make a little money in baseball if you put some money into it.
3:44
But to folks who have heard his name and maybe seen a documentary but really did not live in his era, how would you describe what he did and really the legacy that continues today?
101:04
What, what are, what are your a- what are you anticipating f- for this season? What, what, what are your expectations for this team in year one under Kiffin?
101:12
Well, I think they've assembled a lot of talent.
101:14
Uh, you know, I think they've, you know, they've, they've, they've held together the recruiting class, you know, pretty, pretty darn well.
101:21
And, uh, they obviously, as you mentioned, brought in a lot of, you know, transfers and that's, uh, that's all, all good stuff.
101:29
But it's, uh, it's a lot of guys [chuckles] who haven't, very few guys, guys who have played with each other.
101:33
You know, the, um, think of the three players who are going to Media Days, uh, Wood Weeks and Tradaz Green are two of the biggest name returners.
101:42
And then a guy like, uh, you know, TJ Dougherty, who's, uh, also going, uh, who's, uh, you know, a transfer from Ole Miss, and he hasn't played with any of them.
106:30
Strength of this team going into, going into, into camp, in your opinion?
