20:20
Yeah [laughs]
20:20
... to say I'm sitting on the couch judging a professional athlete whether he's good to go or not.
20:24
But, um, no, I think with, with me it's, um, just having that mature conversation with our high performance guys about how have I pulled up.
20:31
Obviously, we'll be able to, we're able to manage my minutes, you know, last night and, you know, played 60% game time.
20:37
I think the week before I only played 60% as well.
20:39
So, um, you know, I've pulled up really well.
20:41
Um, yeah, so at this stage I'm planning to play and we'll have that conversation probably tomorrow with, you know, how have I pulled up two days post-training.
21:32
But would you rather that somebody rule themselves out of the game? I mean, do we have to always be heroes and try and play through injuries?
5:43
[laughs]
5:43

So, um, you know, I've pulled up really well.
6:03
Um, yeah, so at this stage I'm planning to play and- We'll have that conversation probably tomorrow with, you know, how I pulled up two days post-training.
6:11
Um, but probably similar to, you know, the Geelong, how they do it as well.
6:54
But would you rather that somebody rule themselves out of the game? I mean, do we have to always be heroes and try and play through injuries?

4:33
Scotty, we all thought that, uh, you were gonna be the only player wearing the gold jumper with the gold number, but then when was the decision made for the rest of the team to actually all wear it? Because that was kept, uh, very quiet.
4:45
Yeah, it was good.
4:46
I, I enjoyed the fact that we were able to keep that really tight.
4:50
Um, I thought it was, uh, gonna be a really special moment, uh, in the locker room when everyone realized what they were doing.
4:55
I knew that we were gonna do that from a while out.
4:57
Um, and the boys obviously found out about 20 minutes before they run out, and I thought it looked awesome.
5:03
Um, you know, it's a team game.

6:16
What did it mean to you that he didn't, uh, that he didn't do that and he, he let you continue on to, to get to the milestone yesterday?
15:57
Yep.
15:57
You know, I'm, I'm sure I'll get brought back to earth pretty quickly tonight.
16:00
The under eight girls that I coach, we're, um, we're in a bit of a, um, form slump at the moment.
16:05
Looking to bounce out of that tonight.
16:06
Hopefully we can get back on the, uh, the winners list because, uh, wins have been hard to come by in the last six weeks.
16:12
[whistle blows] Day off today, Wednesday the 20th.

What did it mean to you that he didn't, uh, that he didn't do that and he, he let you continue on to, to get to the milestone yesterday?
61:31
Yeah, it was, um, yeah, I sort of just wanted to, during the week, is, um, you know, get around to a lot of people that have helped me.
61:37
And yeah, I just sent Fly a message saying, you know, a few years ago when, when he walked in and, you know, the talk was all around he was gonna be a development coach and build our next list.
61:45
And when you're 35, you're probably not in that window of, you know, developing, rebuilding side.
61:50
And to sit down with him and, you know, hear what he wanted to do and how he wanted to use me and that he saw, you know, not just one year, you know, three or four years left in me was, um, you know, gave me a lot of motivation to continue on.
62:02
And, um, I just wanted to thank him for, for trusting me and, um, you know, being a great role model and coach and a fantastic leader.
62:08
And, um, I also just wanted to highlight to him as well that his vision that he walked in with in '22, you know, his ability to bring that life and bring that to life and what the club's become since he's walked in, I think he's taking it to a new level.

3:42
Yeah.
3:42
Um, yeah, just felt like my legs were gone a little bit, and then obviously the game was really close and stuff as well.
3:47
So, um, yeah, still trying to do my thing, but I, yeah, I felt pretty cooked.
3:51
I think it was just the, the build-up of the week and the enormity of it all and, um, you know, I spoke to Howie yesterday about it, but just random things that you'd never expect.
3:59
Like I got, you know, I think I said it on TV, but I got clapped walking out of a supermarket on, on Friday-

[laughs]
23:38
Yes, Howie, I watched from start to finish.
23:40
I had my own training during the day.
23:43
Um, as you would know, I've been dealing with the Achilles issue for the last month, so, um, it was great to get some training in.
23:51
I did about half a game load, so about 7Ks, 6Ks around that mark today, which was about half of what the boys did, um, in the game.
24:00
So it was good to get some load.
24:02
Really confident in the plan that we get and hopefully sort of bide along.

Welcome to Melbourne Airport, everyone.
1:20
The time is 9:45 AM.
1:21
It's currently 15 degrees.
1:25
All right.
1:25
Just, uh, driving back from the airport, uh, post last night's game against the Dockers.
1:32
It's, uh...

22 MINS LATER

23:33
Well played.
5:35
But it was Scotty that was by far and away the hardest hit.
5:39
Just lost the prelim.
5:41
I don't know what I've done to my calf, but, yeah, I just tried to walk back from the game.
5:47
Basically just limped the whole way back, and it's real sore.
5:51
Um, so I'm assuming I've done something fairly decent.
5:56
I think I've said this a lot, but the reason I play is for finals, um, to get into finals, try and get into grand finals.
6:02
And, yeah, I've got no doubt I could've, um, yeah, impacted that game a lotTo sit there and watch is, is really hard.

Superstar, welcome to the Thursday Wrap.
1:58
Thanks, mate.
1:58
Thanks for having me.
1:59
Looking, uh, looking forward to it.
2:00
Uh, yeah.
2:01
Is the roof stay open? I don't know these answers.
3:35
Do you recall what happened?
3:37
I don't remember the interview, but I've heard it a lot of times on Triple M.
speaker_18UNKNOWN
51:10
How are you feeling? How's the body, Scotty?
51:13
Yeah, it's, it's good.
51:14
We've had a bit of a, um, a strange lead-in thus far.
51:17
It's sort of been, like, you know, we had a six-day break, and then a long break, and then couple of travels and a six-day break, so this, this is probably the first time we've been able to get some good training in.
51:27
We've had a, you know, obviously a Thursday night, a, a good win against Carlton, and then-
speaker_18UNKNOWN
55:16
... as much at 19, 20 as it did when you first played on this famous day?
55:21
day?Yeah, it definitely does.
55:24
Um, I think the occasion gets celebrated really well, but I, I sort of compare it to a prelim final.
36:12
What happened last night? Give us your take of the Pies-Crows
36:15
game.
36:16
Yeah, I just think our inside 50 connection was off.
36:19
You know, we transitioned the ball easily enough, but I reckon a few too many sort of pot shots from outside 50 on the run when we could have found, you know, just easier shots at goal to slow the game down because now, especially with that LeSue rule, when it goes out of bounds, that's really your only chance to be able to get a 30-second break, so...
36:35
Yeah, I reckon we can clean that up pretty quickly because the rest of the game was in good order.
36:39
You know, third quarter, we fell away a little bit there.
36:42
But, yeah, proud of the way that we fought, got back into the game and gave ourselves a chance.
37:19
Stevie, what did you play?
