Well, I'll give you an answer that's
40:40
probably not going to be popular with the mold guys, but typically, this is my theory, we're going to encapsulate that mold in, you know, two inches of closed-cell foam, so it's going to be reacting at 200 degrees, so it's going to kill the mold and it'll be encapsulated, so...
41:00
That's my two cents.
41:02
Oh, okay.
41:05
Yeah.
41:06
Now, if there's mold on the joists that will be left exposed, then sure, you can have that taken care of.
41:12
And so they're not going to come out and just do part of it.
speaker_13UNKNOWN
42:17
No, no, it's at least four feet, maybe taller in some areas.
68:33
The audit.
68:34
The energy audit.
68:35
So we have...
68:36
Well, we'll come out to your house and tell you pretty much anything you need to know or want to know for free.
68:41
But there is a segment of people that really are kind of confused or maybe have questions about what's going to be the best thing for their house, especially when they're looking at maybe replacing windows or upgrading their HVAC system and their house is 15, 20, 30 years old.
68:55
And so we'll come out for a couple hundred dollars and we'll run a blower door test infrared and we'll give you an energy audit report and we'll look at all various different things from the Top of the house all the way to the bottom, crawl space, basement, whatever.
69:06
And then we have a full-blown energy audit.

I don't know how...
15:06
That's my macroeconomic tangent there.
15:08
No, I love it.
15:09
And candidly, so earlier this month, I was in Singapore for an international finance course.
15:14
And I can tell you, you know, we met with Johnson and Johnson.
15:18
We met with J.P. Morgan and we met with KPMG.
15:21
KPMG, one of the largest advisory firms in the world.
15:23
Obviously, J.P. Morgan, largest bank in the world.

And so is there a way that we could not interrupt and keep the hockey stick going upwards? Does that resonate? How do you approach that conversation?
JimAUDIENCE
50:26
... have you had a lot of history with, um, perhaps going back and replacing that after that application's been put on in a shorter length of time than what they, uh, claim?
50:38
So we haven't really have a lot of experience with that.
50:40
It hadn't been out that long, and we don't, we don't technically offer that service, so I don't have a lot of information on it.
50:46
I'll just tell you this: a lot of the big coating companies that we use, um, are mainly for the fl- the flat or the lower pitched roofs that we put coatings on.
50:54
So coating a shingle that has a granule surface, I'm just not sure about the adhesion that it would have.
51:00
It would definitely have to be a much newer roof, I would think, and a much more stable shingle for anything that you're gonna spray on it to adhere to it.
51:07
So, um, um, I mean, I, I really...

57:44
Can you add on, like, a partial roof to a roof that they just put on?
24:07
Hmm.
24:07
And then if you wanna change out windows mainly for, you know, aesthetic purposes, you want a different look, that's fine, but usually when we do energy audits, 99% of the time windows are fine.
24:18
It's not really the windows, it's the casing-Around the windows, the trim.
24:22
If you caulk those, seal those up, you w- you know, you'll, you'll help reduce that stack effect.
24:27
In your situation, you know, without being able to get in there, and there's always a way, it just takes money, but [laughs] you know, we'd, we'd ha- we'd wanna try to seal it up- [laughs] ... or do something at the bottom.
24:36
Um, that's kind of- Yeah ... a tough one there.
24:38
I mean, you know, p- but, uh...
speaker_7ADVERTISER
27:42
Uh, yeah, what are the options for dealing with squirrel droppings in your insulation up in your attic?
14:55
Then you fix the leaks, and then you put in the blown-in?
14:58
So we come out and do like an e- we can come out and do an energy audit, which is looking at your windows and your attic insulation, your crawl space, your basement, just trying to...
15:05
And, and your HVAC duck work.
15:06
That's a huge issue for...
15:08
You know, everybody gets the shiny new box, but they don't really mess with the duct work.
15:11
So we kind of take this comprehensive look at all the systems in your house and give you a pretty little report, and we charge for it.
15:16
But, uh, it, it gives you...

22:43
Now, for the insulation, um, what's the best insulation for just a general steel building?
20:02
... 82 degrees.
20:04
You know, we've been doing this since 2009.
20:05
If you blow in insulation, it's gonna help.
20:07
It, it's not gonna get you a really what we call a wow factor, but we get customers all the time, whether you do spray foam or you do a proper air seal along with the insulation, I mean, they'll say, they'll call up and say, "Oh man, I, this paid, this paid for itself in three years, four years, five years." And there's not too many home improvements where you're gonna make your house more comfortable, energy efficient, that will actually pay you back.
20:28
I mean, you can go buy a $16,000 HVAC system, but you'll save a little money, but you got 16 grand you just laid out there.
20:53
under the impression that it will just settle and settle on this.
20:55
Well, everybody is because of the new construction.
20:57
So w- you buy a house, the, the, you get what the builder paid for.
