Scott MerrillGUEST
In Kenya, we're trying to work towards something like what Alan described in New Zealand, but around a very different type of health risk, which is malaria.

Scott MerrillGUEST
I think most people, when they think of malaria interventions, they think of bed nets.

And we had a question about four or five years ago saying, what could we do from a housing perspective to make it more likely that people sleep in bed nets that help to keep the mosquitoes out of the home in the first place? And so we ran a crowdsourcing global competition for ideas around how do we retrofit existing traditional mud homes to keep mosquitoes out of those homes.

We then partnered with the Kenya Medical Research Institute to test a handful of the winning designs that came through.
