Yeah
21:04
... something that keeps them trapped in the woods for an hour, and then they gotta get drug back to the pit? That was something unique about this race is that they gave us the opportunity to fix stuff.
21:15
Whether it was on the trail or in the pits, y- you could even get help being towed back to the pit because it was a loop, and if you could fix your vehicle and get back out on the track, you could basically resume your lap.
21:28
So I appreciated that because some of these races like, like Hammers, for example, you go out on the course, if you break on the course, no one can bring you parts except for other competitors, and this was a loop race, so we did 30-some laps.
21:46
There's multiple opportunities for a team to come by you so you can say to, to another guy, "Hey, will you take this axle out there?" And, and a lot of times people will help you.
21:54
That's the nice thing about, you know, off-road racing and side by side, it seems like the community kinda wants to help each other.
22:00
Um, for our situation, when we lost a shock, we actually got ahold of some, a good old, old redneck homeboy out there, and-
26:54
It, it would just come to the point where no one would even, would even race it, I think.
20:39
How have they grown as a group?
20:43
Yeah, I think certainly a level of maturity.
20:48
Ruben's playing with a lot of confidence right now.
20:51
I think we've always wanted to push Ruben to go deeper into games on his minutes.
20:57
So there was a big focus coming out of February was working with the Chicago staff on his conditioning.
21:03
uh so he could go deeper you would have noticed he played a lot of games you know up until 76 78 minutes during the course of the year which is which was there to see and we don't we don't take credit for that but it certainly helped in in building uh building his robustness which uh the more uh clearly Ruben thinks the better he plays you know and that comes with conditioning so um so i think you know he he's grown there and i you know i don't really on an individual level i think about it like this like we are we have contracted or working with 61 players that are playing in different parts around the globe so what you see on the field with us is who who fits that particular time during the 2026 calendar Right.
21:49
But we were already, we're paying contracts for guys that are playing over an NPC plane.

35:28
Have they been playing together quite a bit with Chicago? With that in mind, do you think the reduction of non-domestic qualified players MLR last season has had a positive effect on the Eagles? And also, does that maybe make it tougher for, say, a spot for AJ to come in if and when he's able to?
2:53
And recently it was just, you know, you centralized all your APIs as Verizon business, right? Can you tell us for our listeners a little bit why and why is that so important, your strategy behind it?
3:05
Yeah, so one, it's a privilege and an honor to have been nominated onto the board of directors for Amplify.
3:11
Verizon's been a long standing member of the Amplify and MEF community for a number of years, and we've implemented quite a bit of the LSO model into our own organization.
3:21
We can talk about that a little bit later.
3:24
But I personally, I really believe strongly in the global mission to really create an alliance and bring global networks together and drive service innovation.
3:33
And that's what MFFI really stands for.
3:35
And as I got deeper into the role of participating on the board, It also brought up for me an ongoing issue that I saw within Verizon, and that is how we manage our API strategy or lack thereof strategy was really siloed.

9:59
But the question I'm sure listeners aren't going to say, well, why isn't the internet good enough? Why do we need a purpose-built AI infrastructure?
3:26
Uh-huh
3:27
... acting? I had always been a jock, a athlete, a science, math science major guy.
3:34
I sat in on an acting class, Patrick, and I'll tell you the story.
3:39
There was a...
3:40
And, and I had no idea what I was gonna see.
3:44
Two actors on stage, and they were doing a scene, male and female.
3:48
The teacher was up on the side.

47 MINS LATER

50:49
Right.
