really cool new modern stuff in that new building.

You know, I'm really excited.

I'm just a sports fanatic like you guys.

And, you know, about the only thing that I can't just sit and watch all day is baseball.

But what about the service side out here?

Man, you know, we actually put in more service hours than any other dealership in Western Oklahoma.

We're open 8 to 6, Monday through Friday, and even open on Saturdays 9 to 3.

I open those hours on Saturday because we all work during the week and, you know, it's hard to get in for an oil change.

And so a lot of people find theirself in Walmart or a quick lube that may be open on a Saturday.

And a lot of people drive to the city on Saturdays to, to go and do these kinds of things because everybody's shutting down our hours, our sales hours out here are nine to seven on Saturdays.

You know, and, and my competition's closing down at noon and, and, three o'clock two o'clock i mean uh you know i know football season's here but i got tv in my office i can watch t i can watch a little bit of that game in my office and you know we got one in the waiting area too so i don't care if people sneak over come by a car we'll make sure the game's on for you what do you think about the Sooners this year i'm excited you know i think i'm more excited probably about john mature i think uh you know we watched a kid come out last year came out guns a-blazin', got that thumb injury, played through that game, and then to come find out, you know, had the injury, went and had the surgery.

i'm kidding sometimes i will give you credit because my my between my dad and you is why i grew to love baseball because you're one of my very first coaches and if you took if you take care of your customers like you took care of me when i was a kid then wendy nissan's gonna be fine i appreciate that it's kind of reminiscing right there i mean we had some good times man you know i

So you could come here and just see what would work in your community and learn from what we've done and learn what we've done right or

wrong.

I think there's some, in addition to the trail types, which is, as Gary said, it's almost like a buffet of types to choose from.

In addition to learning from that, I think there's some structural things that communities could consider doing.

One, I think, is the combination of the public-private partnership.

So we are privileged to have the resources that we do have.

And so we don't think that everyone has that same situation.

But as you look back on your time and your career, which has been so very impressive with the Moose Jaw Warriors, how would you say that your approach has evolved over that decade?

Well, I think once you get into the league, you're a little bit naive of what the job entails.

And I think being an ex-player, you kind of get in and you think because you played, you know it all.

And then you realize once you get into coaching that you really know nothing.

It's completely different.

You're managing 20 plus guys, personalities.

You're managing a defenseman, positions you haven't played.

So I know it's still very early here, but who are some of the names that we should be watching for as we head into preseason and WHL regular season for the Moose Jaw Warriors? What are some of the names that might not be expected to jump off the stat sheet right away, but that you have a lot of hope in, I guess, for lack of a better term?

I started to buy SIM cards and numbers in each country and then I used to take them to my passport and then I would go to the next country and swap them in and swap them out and doing that for a while.

Can you tell us a little bit about, you know, what those paths are for you and a little bit about, you know, those roles for teachers who may not be familiar with those titles?

Okay.

Well, I'm a little different than a lot of teachers where I'm, I'm running my own program.

So I, you know, I help with the budget.

I help, you know, I train all the students.

Um, I'm doing things outside the classroom that's almost like a little business.

I wanna go into program or project management and, uh, possibly Scrum Master or a corporate trainer, which again, is what I do day to day, year to year.
