Hear the word of the Lord.
2:57
So today I'd like to talk about grief and how grief is natural to Christians.
3:03
It's not a wallowing.
3:06
It's not a form of narcissism.
3:08
It's not a weakness.
3:10
If we're going to be Rich Trinitarian Christians who follow Jesus' teaching and live together in the company of Christ, we will grieve.
3:23
That's the big point for today.

Thanks be to God.

Thanks, mate, for reading.

Okay, so this is the third talk in our series on Trinitarian ethics from 2 Corinthians.
3:02
What we've done is the first talk, we did meta-ethics.
3:05
What are the moral facts? What are the metaphysical realities that make it true that we do Trinitarian ethics? And we looked at the fact that God is one God in whom there are three persons identified with a divine nature who live in love and holiness and are who they are only ever in relation to one another.
3:26
And from that life, flows love and holiness to human beings experienced as peace and grace in reconciliation, in the gift of the Spirit, in adoption, in being brought into God's own family so He might dwell amongst us, living in us, giving us His Spirit so that we may know that we are destined, guaranteed for an eternity with Him.
3:55
That's the foundation of Trinitarian ethics.
