And so how did this affect you?

At the time, you know, you're still at that young impressionable age where you want to make your family proud.

So I remember when we were driving my father to drop him off, my mom, myself and my sister, he turned, he was driving and before I got out to drive home, we embraced before he got taken away and he goes, just remember, you're the man of the house now.

And that kind of like just rewired how I was gonna go about things because I needed to be there to support my mom and my sister and it wasn't about suppressing any feelings or any emotions but I had to remain strong because they were puddles and I I had to do what I had to do to be a shoulder for the both of them and to be able to pick up the pieces and move forward and it ended up being one of the greatest experiences for me because well one I had to grow up really really fast and two I realized that I had a support system around me um I had my mom I had my sister but I had a whole staff at the gym that I had yet to meet that were also a support system to me that embraced me.

Having a 19-year-old come in as the owner and being the boss for established business professionals.

My general manager was 31, had been a general manager for a number of years.

My fitness instructors, my personal trainers, like this was all new to me.
