not life and my mum loves any opportunity or anything like that to be like this is why english people love to lose And you get this kind of unwillingness for people to speak up and challenge because it's seen as something that is counter to collaboration and working well together and workplace harmony.

What you get instead is the most senior person in the room or the person that looks like most of the other people in the room, people defer to them.

that gets put forward and you don't get to hear from everyone so um i think having a workplace culture where people feel comfortable challenging feel comfortable speaking up you're going to save time because you no longer have to have the meeting about the meeting about the meeting you just say it in the room um you get better ideas because people can really you know interrogate an idea and put an idea forward and it's net result of everyone's input rather than just one person's And you get a happier workforce because people feel that they can talk and be heard and they're not repressing it.

And for our founder listeners, how do you cultivate that culture? Well, I would say you've got to kind of walk the talk and obviously challenge, show that you're willing to challenge.

it will be yeah it will be now What really strikes me listening to you Scarlett is these are skills not just about the workplace actually the world has lost the ability to disagree well and talk about things and there's all sorts of problems coming from that so can you tell us a bit about the work you're doing in schools because these are skills that you're taking beyond your clients and into a broader base.
