For me, it was really important in this episode, I guess, to show a softer side to Angela in a way.

I mean, she was still incredibly possessive.

She was still very possessive and I think protective of Maurice.

And that was why she was so against Angela.

him going home because in her mind I mean she's been around for a very long time that she knows that this is not going to end well that's why she was so against him going home she was like you made this decision and now you kind of have to live with it and he was still clinging on to this human side and she was really trying to get him to let go of that because in her mind she she thought there's no way that this is going to end well and it didn't end well with a little bit of help from from her unfortunately but i think she just i think it had been a really long time since she had felt connected to someone and he reminded her of i'm thinking maybe in my mind he reminded her of someone that she she used to know perhaps in like a um you know a few hundred years ago and so she really clung to that and i think he also reminded her of this human side that she missed, but at the same time hated thinking about because it was so long ago.
