How has that been for you guys?
47:46
You know...
47:49
For us, one thing that we did when we kicked off 47 was that work-life balance has to be utmost at a high priority for us.
48:01
We want to enjoy what we do on a daily basis and we do enjoy what we do on a daily basis because we have a segregation between work life and home life and anything else that pertains to that.
48:17
You know, one of my strong contributors to that side was my wife.
48:21
Right.
48:22
She's like, honey, I'm home.
51:42
How many clients can you guys serve at your current level if they all wanted to sign on at the high level?
18:22
How?
18:25
That happens by, [chuckles] you know, putting the shop in front of people's phones on a regular and consistent basis, and building a story around who the shop is, w- what they conspire to do or inspire to do for, for, for their, for their cons- uh, their community, and how they're just like everyone else out there, right? Right now, when you take a look at shops across the nation, in, in customers' eyes, they're interchangeable, right? People don't really know the difference between ABC Auto Repair and 123 Auto Repair.
19:07
All, all they know is they need, they need their brake and rotors done or they need an oil change done, right? When a, when a, when a shop looks the same, price is the same to compete on, you know, specific jobs and whatnot, you're just a commodity at that point, right? And there is a deeper level, um, connection issue there, which is built off of, off of trust.
19:36
Historically, y- you know, even I've, I've been guilty of it in my own ways.
19:42
I've-- Before coming into the auto industry, I always thought mechanics, auto repair shops, were out to juice my pockets, charge me the highest dollar amount, and, and, you know, pat me on the back and say, "Come back again." And so I never liked taking my car to a auto repair shop, the dealership, anywhere, 'cause I just didn't h- trust them, right? Now, what happens is that if you're a business that's a commodity, you're not, you're not earning that loyalty, right, with your customers.
20:16
And how about this? They might come to your shop because, you know, they might use a PPC like Google Ads, LSAs or something, but then their experience is, is, is terrible.
20:26
They're not, they're not coming back again.

26:16
Hmm.
2:17
That's funny.
2:17
And then from there we hit it off, and we kinda stayed in touch, uh, in person this time, and we were kinda exploring, you could say, various aspects of entrepreneurship.
2:27
And I mean, essentially, like, an opportunity presented itself, and we were kind of wondering what we should do on our own, and we were like, "Hey, there's this opportunity that's presented itself.
2:38
Do you wanna just do it together?" And then it was pretty much a long meandering path, uh, into automotive.
2:44
Uh, we, we, we, we were, like, in, like, 13, 14 different verticals before we stuck in automotive.
2:50
So we really got to, uh, understand that, like, automotive for sure, the one thing that we learned is, uh, generally speaking, the business owners have a really, really, really high degree of business sophistication-

... to know who the shop is-
12:07
is-And, and, and I'll tell you this straight, Frank, no one cares about auto repair shops, but they care about Frank, they care about Aniz, they care about Mike, they care about Kamran.
