But what has changed for you permanently? What is it that has changed? What have you tried to deliberately keep it like same and something that you did not change about yourself? But yeah, tell me more about that.
3:46
I think 2024 was a very special year for me personally and the entire family.
3:55
World Cup leading up to it, we had very thorough preparation individually and as a team.
4:04
On a personal level also, I had been doing a lot of inner work on myself.
4:13
which involved me getting introduced to authentic practice of yoga through a channel called Satvic Yoga.
4:21
Me and my wife, we both did a complete 108 day course and my perspective on life completely changed from being externally goal motivated to sort of looking within and trying to weed out entanglements within and the inner clarity and inner cleanliness automatically reflects in your external world.
4:52
And that's what I could see in the 2024 World Cup, where things just miraculously started happening when I least expected them to.
7:09
When you now, do you feel that there is a sense of responsibility for you to start looking at? Have you made a conscious effort around looking into the future of American cricket? Where do you go from here? And how are you approaching that?
18:24
Talk to me through why you sort of reached that point.
18:26
point. So I played under 19 World Cup in 2010, and, uh, post that, uh, my cricketing, uh, trajectory sort of stagnated, I would say.
18:43
I couldn't, uh, establish myself in the Mumbai first class.
18:48
Uh, I was in and out of the side, getting a game here and there.
18:53
And, um, mid-season, I think 2015, I got dropped from the side.
19:00
Um, and in parallel, uh, uh, uh, I was doing my, my, my undergraduate degree.
19:06
So 29 to 2013, I graduated from college, and I decided to give two full years to cricket.

19 MINS LATER

But just talk to me about the opportunity to play MLC and how much it's really done for, for the US.
