What's your opinion on that?

No, it's very hard.

It's just that if you already know that you're checked out and you're not attracted to that person, just leave.

Go find a person that you're attracted to, that makes you happy because, yo, life is short.

That happens a lot.

Like, they'll look at their, you know, their friend, and if that person is very successful, they're like, "Man, I could've been further if you would've made that call."

Then she inched closer, lowering her voice.

Listen, the kids I work with, they've been through so much trauma it twists the way they see the world.

It eats at them.

They act out, lash out.

That's normal for kids who've been abused or neglected.

They carry so much pain inside that it has to escape somehow, and it usually comes out in the worst possible ways.

Sometimes they smash things.

Protect? They were all over me.

[laughs]

[laughs] I think that starting a business, whether it's with your romantic partner or with your best friend or with someone you know, it can go in two very different directions, and for some people, it really strengthens the relationship.

It, like, deepens the communication.

It builds trust, and you become an incredible team.

And then for others, it brings out challenges, and the relationship maybe isn't equipped to handle those challenges, or you start to see things that bother you about the other person.

Or sometimes it really does split up friendships, relationships, family members.

So you really have to be careful going, who you're going into business with.

Yeah.

And it was bonkers.

And I remember going to a record shop in Ibiza and buying it all.

I did loads of record swaps.

'Cause I played, you know, I, I, I played a few times and got to know PP, and we, we did some, we did some record swaps as well.

I remember the first time I went back to England after our first trip with, uh, half my record box was full of all this new music I'd bought there, which I'd been blown away by.

And I think the first set I did back, I remember it was in Leeds, I think, at a warehouse, and I played all this music.

I did, I did one in '97, yeah.

Yeah.

I know.

[laughs]

We want to know.

Yeah, yeah.

Right.

Um, I, I love, um, history, you know, so there was like that history element for it as well.

Um, and culture, I love learning about other cultures, so I kind of just chalked it up to learning about, you know, different beliefs and, and, um, theology and esotericism and, um, you know.

But I, I, I found myself falling more back into that stuff, and I, I had one night that like really set it off, where I felt myself get pulled out and it, it, it had been a minute.

It had been maybe six months since it had happened.

We had moved and nothing had happened to me again.

Um, so I get pulled out and I can see...

Um, my house cleaner was my, uh, first employee, and she just...

And because I consumed yours and Layla's content so much that I was like, "I'm gonna be these two people in one.

That's me."

Uh-huh.

Um, so I learned the care part.

Um, [laughs] and, um, now I have it, but then I've seen her, I mean, I've seen situations kinda, like, not go the way that they should because she's too, she's a copy and paste of me from yesterday.

... usually not, like, two of them, because they can get a little crazy with my brother around-
