You know, knowing what Leo Leo meant really early in life.

But I think I think so when I started really gaining more love for the Hawaiian culture, love for hula, love for all these things was honestly when I moved to the mainland too.

I started working at the Baton around like 22 years old.

And there I was exotic.

There I was like, my Hawaiian was coming through more than my Haole.

So I got really obsessed with like, you know, just learning whatever I could.

There's so many elements of like your healing has come full circle and touched every avenue that you create.

I grew up, um, in, like, a, it's called Hawaiian Homeland, so it's like native Hawaiian reservat- uh, like, homestead.

So we, uh, I have, like, generational land passed down from my grandfa- my grandmother.

So yeah, it was really fun.

Uh, right across the street is the beach, and then my backyard was, like, the mountain range.

It was paradise.
