Thank you.
14:12
Oh my gosh.
14:13
That's like, I could just put myself right back there last year.
14:17
Yeah, so when I was pregnant with my second, I lost my dad, and I was about, I would say, five months along.
14:24
I took care of him for many months before he died, and the processing of grief through pregnancy was really hard.
14:32
My son was, you know, two and a half years old, which was such an interesting time to lose a grandparent, because he was so aware and so vocal and just really, he still to this day remembers Grandpa.
14:48
And two is pretty young, I think, to remember, but it was really confusing, and it was hard to explain, and I bought any book that I could find on grief or loss or how do I explain this.

13 MINS LATER

27:45
Sarah, what would you share with any other ambitious mama who is feeling maybe torn or worried that pursuing her ambition or pursuing her creative gifts is gonna take her away from her kids?
14:45
You know, can you tell us a little bit about how did you balance like postpartum anxiety and working and parenting? Like that must have been really tough.
14:55
Well, first of all, power, like more power to you for sticking with, you know, all of it when somebody said something like that to you.
15:03
You know, I had a similar situation as what you had where I was telling someone, oh, I want to write children's books.
15:10
And as soon as I said that, somebody was like, oh, yeah, I've tried that.
15:14
Like, it's so hard to break into, you know, and it was just like really negative energy.
15:18
Thanks for rounding on my career.
15:20
Yeah.

21 MINS LATER

36:22
100%.
12:23
So I'm curious for you, how has your husband changed in fatherhood and how has your marriage changed in parenthood?
12:32
that's such a good question I mean gosh Eric's like six almost seven years older than me and I was actually married before I got married I'm from Kentucky and I got married young I got married at 21 I got divorced at 22 and then Eric and I started dating like between 22 and 23 and And so it was so for me, I was like I felt like I was growing up with him.
13:01
Like I was sort of learning how to be in a relationship that had communication and it was just different.
13:09
He was also learning how to be in a relationship with somebody that was like, no, you're not going to talk to me like that.
13:14
No.
13:14
You know what I mean? Like, we were both just really good at figuring things out together.
13:19
And I learned how to communicate in a relationship because of him.

18 MINS LATER

31:22
And I just want to know what that looks like in your household with your four littles.
3:59
But just, yeah, the venture into children's books is just really interesting to me.
4:06
Well, when...
4:09
Gosh, when I started in the business in acting, there is a lot of downtime.
4:15
Even when you're shooting a show or a movie, there's just a lot of time in between.
4:21
There was a few years when I was on different series and then we would have this thing called a hiatus.
4:27
So you're like not working and you can't technically work on other things unless they can like get it in at that time.
4:34
And so my husband, who I was dating at the time, was he was like trying different things.

53 MINS LATER

57:49
Did you find that transition hard or were you just like, this is all sounding right? Like the universe is giving me these signs and like that transition into being more of your witchy self?
