Nice.

Um, I, I would say that the first thing they need to do is to allow themselves to choose themselves, to gift themselves some space and time without anyone else around, without anybody else demanding your time and energy, or telling you what to do or who to be, and gift yourself just a precious hour or couple of hours, and maybe just go for a walk in nature, or take yourself away somewhere and, and write.

Write about, "Who am I? What do I really want?" I think self-awareness is the most powerful catalyst for change, but you have to allow yourself that space.

And my journey started of allowing myself 45 minutes, and I remember, um, I'd been gifted a massage, and-

Mm.

And for me, that, again, asking my guides as well, this was, it felt like a huge download of, "Sarah, this is what you're here to teach." And I remember saying, "I can't do that.

I can't tell women that you're self-abusing, you're self-sacrificing, you're self-sabotaging." It felt scary to open their eyes to what these seven patterns were.

But my work over the years has transformed women's lives because I've shared these and also empowered them to change that story.

Did that happen for you? Yes.

So what happened for me was I actually got baptized into it when I was 12 because they encourage you to get baptized at a young age.

Well, at 12, you don't really know who you are and what you want.

You know, I look at my kids and at 12, they think they know, they think they know, but at 12, they don't.

It was very coercive that, you know, you were celebrated if you got baptized at a young age.

However, that decision to get baptized has impacted my life forever because if you get baptized into it and leave, you get disfellowshipped.

So I'm a disfellowshipped cult member or ex-member.

a bit more about your career because you started off as a PE and that full-time job back when you were in the cult, how did that develop into what you're doing now?
