So the story of the dot is a story about a little girl who doesn't think she can do art, and her teacher tells her, "Just make a mark and see where it takes you." And the little girl's very frustrated, and she jabs her marker on the paper, and the next day when she comes into art, her teacher has it in a swirly frame, and she told her, "Sign it." So there it is, this tiny little splotch of a dot and her name.

And the little girl kinda, it gives her a pause and says, "I can do better than that," and she starts trying again and painting, and more and more dots.

And it's like a family night, and people come and they're looking at her, and a little boy says, "You're a great artist.
