remember.
13:00
I laugh because what else can you do? Our town was hit really hard then.
13:04
We weren't living here then, but my partner's family home and farm burnt.
13:10
And my partner and his family stayed to help my parents defend.
13:13
It never came to that.
13:14

1:44
Yeah, absolutely.
1:46
Um, I was reflecting on this recently actually, and, um, I think all the way through for me it's been a mix of head and heart, everything.
1:55
So I first studied architecture, or chose architecture as a pathway.
2:00
I didn't really know much about it, but, um, at the time finishing up school, I guess, my heart really enjoyed creativity and design, and my head was really fascinated by science.
2:13
Um, and also I guess those s- that desire to organize things and also communicate things played in there as well.
2:21
I perhaps didn't realize that till later.
