Um, but what was coffee, uh, the coffee catalyst for you? And I imagine you were writing before coffee.

Hmm.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Uh, yes, I was, I was writing before coffee.

Uh, I have more of an international development background, and, um, and I know a lot of coffee writers started out as roasters or baristas or some other, um, some other role in the coffee business.

Uh, but I actually had nothing to do with coffee.

But how, how do you, when you're writing about things and relaying information, um, w- how have you seen that, that writing impact the way that players who have sway, who, who buy coffee, who are, are decision-makers, have made decisions? Or how would you like that information to be received so that then there's this step of, "Hey, I'm culpable in the results of the industry, even if I'm just a little roaster in the Midwest," right? Uh, what, what's the downstream impact that you would hope that that information has on people?

But do you wanna just introduce us to, to what, what you've done with it and what readers might expect to find in there?

Yeah.

So at home, I, I research the creative process.

So I've done things like I make my own parchment, I make my own iron gall ink, I illuminate manuscripts, I make pigments.

If I can do it at home, and [laughs] if it's not dangerous, I will do it.

I'll, I'll have a go.

I'll see what it feels like.

You've sort of touched on it a little bit, that there were ebbs and flows, but just maybe if you could go into that a little bit more.
