And like you say, so in 2015, she and her team published a paper called Neuropsychological Insights into Creativity in People With Parkinson's Disease.
7:15
In that specific study, we actually started because we heard, um, that a lot of people were noticing changes in creativity, but they were rarely asked, uh, about that.
7:26
So we always have maybe a person with Parkinson's, "Yeah, I actually perceived, uh, um, uh, yeah, an increase in creativity after diagnosis." Some people say, "Yeah, I perceived a decrease," but we didn't really know why.
7:38
So the idea is that we asked, uh, about 360 people with Parkinson's, I think, about their personality, lifestyle, medication, uh, and how they, um, their creativity changed over time, uh, from before symptoms onset to that day that they were doing the questionnaire.
7:58
And we saw that about four out of 10 people said, yes, there was a change.
8:03
And actually, that was also tracked over time.
8:06
And then when we looked a little bit closer, uh, we saw that the, that number actually changed and rose to about seven out of 10 people.
10:24
And actually, it's a great question to ask someone, how, y- you know, do you feel like your creativity has changed?
