And so how do we inspire those men or how do we speak to them that have never told things to anyone and they've just been, you know, pressurized, holding that all in themselves? How do we inspire them to go find somewhere that they can be vulnerable, share their story, talk about their soft cocks, talk about their judgments of themselves and like expose those things to actually move into the next steps? How do we inspire that?
18:24
It's a beautiful question.
18:26
And I will say that it's a process.
18:28
You know, it's creating, it's basically like a gym.
18:31
We're creating gym of emotional literacy, of ability to be myself when I'm not playing that role that I played for 20, 30, 40 years.
18:40
Yeah, depending.
18:41
So it's a process and it's work that I'm doing with people for three months, six months.
22:25
it's a muscle yeah i feel less exposed because i've shown it and i've said it and i've talked about it and so it's like i feel less like someone's gonna get me because i'm willing to speak to deeper and deeper layers so it's that feeling of vulnerability becomes it actually just feels more like you said like it i feel more connected to the turn on than i do the exposure I'm like, I am, this is one, this is one of the closer things to what I actually am at a deeper layer.

And so many people are like, "What's somatics?" Like, "What is, what does that mean? What are you gonna have me doing?" So I'd love to hear just in the work that you're doing, like, how do you see talk therapy and somatics differing?
6:13
differing?Wow.
6:15
Yeah.
6:15
In so many ways, and at the same time, I find them very complementing.
6:18
So the way I, I said it, uh, I said it to every client when I have a, a discovery call with them.
6:23
So when I learned psychology, it's a very bottom... a top-down approach, right? We go from, we, we take a theory, we, we understand something in the world.
6:29
Okay, let's take sh- sexual shame.
