Why You Feel So Lost in Your 40s (It’s Not Just Anxiety) | The Forties Formula
21:56
i mean yeah that sounds like she's been through so much so much and it's just the cumulative effect isn't it it's like sometimes we you know we go through life we can carry a loss and we do carry a loss we keep moving forward but when that just keeps piling on top you know i imagine it it's like literally like having a rucksack and just keep adding stones to it getting heavier and heavier and at a certain point You just need to put that down and really kind of look at what's underneath and keep taking each one out, exploring what it means to feel that grief.
22:30
I think in terms of like how you can support somebody grieving, one of the things I would say is Grief really needs to be witnessed.
22:38
You know, I think that and everybody's different in the way that they want this to happen or when they want this to happen.
22:46
But I think going back to what we kind of feel like we're allowed or not allowed to grieve and feel.
22:53
having someone witness that, whether it's a friend, whether it's a support group, a therapist, somebody that can just really hold that space and witness it and say, you know, it's okay, like whatever, not that what's happened's okay, because yeah, but whatever you're experiencing, whether it's, you know, anger, whether it's upset, whether it's It can be not in your friend's case maybe, but in other cases there can be other things.
