to so many other areas of our life so uh to sanjeev you know what q think just described it's um you know it's this innovation that's filling some of these technical gaps at a very community at a localized level that sometimes big organizations struggle with in terms of the adaptability or ensuring that we can tailor the solutions From working inside Habitat, what do you see as the reality of donor cycles and then also thinking about the solutions for climate impacts?

Sanjeev HadaGUEST
yeah uh firstly i mean my hat's off to q um you know having that localized solutions and getting those local fundings using local techniques and materials to build resilient homes and serving the families affected by the floods and cyclone i mean I think that is one of the great examples of a localized effort.

Sanjeev HadaGUEST
And agencies like us should be acting more as influences and enablers for this type of initiatives, supporting the local communities and supporting the local strengths that already exists within the community.

Sanjeev HadaGUEST
And certainly, Aaron, I mean, that gap seems to be most challenging, but not only from a donor's perspective, but also us as United agencies.

Sanjeev HadaGUEST
I mean, in order for agencies to meet donors' requirements, we need to ensure it aligns with our own area of work, our own programmatic priorities, and this and that.

Sanjeev HadaGUEST
And then there's this whole cycle of writing proposals, doing the needs assessment, damage assessments, planning, budgeting.

Aaron OpdykeHOST
But, you know, why do you think there's a renewed need to emphasize really this integration of participation from communities in our programming?
