So if it says 80 on your temperature, but your corals are all melting, it might be 85 if you don't know that the thermometer is accurate to whatever it is.

So the other problem with all this, thermometers are a little easier because there's just one number.

There's no process you have to follow to get to that number.

But if I'm measuring, let's say calcium, that's an easy one.

So they try to keep it simple that way, and they all seem to go with the philosophy that a lot of these approaches work.

You know, you don't have to beat your head against the wall.

You'll always have a dead coral or a dead fish, and there's no reason to redo your system just because of one coral that's dying or not happy.
