... and did everything myself.

I was the lawyer, I was the engineer, I was the contractor, and, uh, the property manager.

And it kinda worked out because, uh, we were a low-cost provider.

You know, our rents were a dollar or two a foot less than the next person's.

And, uh, the opportunities were that I was the property manager and the chief cook and bottle washer, and then it just grew from there.

Uh, with capital we coulda got a lot larger.
