Why do you think we've seen such chronic infrastructure under-investment in South Africa?

It's because the economy's not growing.

And you say, "Why is the economy not growing?" It's because we've lost major competitive advantages.

Eskom, cheap electricity at one time was a major advantage South Africa has, and a lot of the economy was built around cheap energy.

That's gone forever.

So now our competitive advantages are mainly in mining, agriculture, and tourism.

And the problem is that those sectors are doing well without any really serious government support.

What's the constraint there? Because it's tempting, I think, to look at the problem and say, "Oh, well, it's, it's a problem of money."
